Little details…

One thing that I absolutely love is getting packages…at home, at the office, wherever. I get super excited when I hear the doorbell ring and even moreso when I receive a package that’s thoughtfully wrapped. It’s little details like these that make my day, so I thought I would do the same for my lovely wedding couples.

Instead of just sending their photos through an online gallery, I also decided to give them something that they can touch and frame. I found an awesome little company that engraves and stains wood boxes and USBs. I then found a wonderful photo lab in Portugal that prints photos on fine art paper that has a gorgeous textured finish. Finally, I scoured the small shops here in Paris (more precisely in Montmartre at the foot of the Sacré Coeur) and found an emerald-coloured silk that I used to make gently-frayed ribbons.

My little obsession with fine art paper continues and I couldn’t resist these linen-covered albums as well (wrapped in silk ribbon of course!)

So now you know what to expect 🙂

  • That looks amazing! You obviously put a lot of effort into finding those materials and services! I would love to create (and receive) an engraved and stained wooden box (and USB?!); how ingenious.
