When I met Whitney and Nathan it was a chilly December morning and even though the sun was out, the ground was covered in black ice. Not only did I have a hard time getting to the Louvre because many metro stops were closed (Johnny Halliday – the French Elvis? – had just died there was a memorial procession happening on the Champs Elysées) but I was also paranoid about slipping on the ice and breaking my cameras. In the end, black ice was nothing to worry about since I managed to fall anyway by tripping on the sidewalk. My cameras survived though!
Anyway, back to this cute couple! It’s days like these that I’m so glad that I can be behind the lens with a giant coat on. I really have no idea how Whitney managed to bear the freezing temperatures and still look so good in her photos!
